A little something else I found on Youtube. TX2K-esque highway pulls in Street Legal Redline. Bear in mind, everything you see in this video is a modification of the original, 11-year-old, game (not sure what's up with the fog though).
Anyway, if you find this interesting (or the idea of a game that lets you build/modify a car piece-by-piece) check out Street Tuning Evolution on Kickstarter. The new game will bring it all up to modern standards, have full modification support and stability that SLRR could only dream of, all while keeping the original's unique car-building ability.
Check it out here.

Street Legal had so much potential. I loved the car building, but it was almost broken to play. Now I kinda want to reinstall it.

There have been a handful of people who have attempted to sort SLRR out, and have done a rather good job of it. Still not perfect, but much better than the days of the version 2-point-1-point-something patches.
I'm just hoping this new game will see the light of day, it looks to everything the Street Legal games were supposed to be.

Oh, and if you want to mess with SLRR, look for "BB93 SLRR 2015". That's the latest iteration. The original assets are still there, but much of it isn't used, so you'll want to grab a few add-on cars as it only comes with an old Alfa Romeo. Be sure to read the notes he included, it'll increase your odds of having a stable game.
